Becoming a member

A large portion of our collection can be viewed on the premises without the need for membership. If you are a member, you can: 

  • borrow books
  • request books or journals from the depot.

You have automatic membership. you can log in with your NetID and borrow books with your campus card.

Student or employee from another Dutch university or college

You can apply for a library membership card at the information desk of the Library Learning Centre. You need a valid student card or employee pass and proof of your address and an e-mail address of your institution.

Visitor to the Library Learning Centre

You can apply for a library membership card at the information desk of the Library Learning Centre. You need a some form of identification (see below). 

€30,00 per year.

Please note: without a library membership (card) you can only access the books in the open shelves. Access to our digital collections is only available through our search&go computers.

Identification

When applying for a library membership card, you should bring the following with you:

  • Personal identity document:
    valid passport, driving licence or European identity card
  • Recent proof of address (no older than one month):
    a letter bearing your address, from your bank, insurance company or local authority, or a tenancy contract, for example
  • You require an Onegini account to be able to login. The information you share will only be used to connect you to our librarysystem.
