Expertise
We are happy to share our expertise in the field of copyright and Open Access with you.
Copyright
In an increasingly digital world, the issue of copyright is becoming ever more complicated and is changing rapidly. To help you keep pace, TU Delft has established the online copyright information point.
It can help to solve such questions as:
- What is the best way of reusing my own publication, for example as a chapter in a book?
- How can I ensure that I agree a fair contract with my publisher or client, avoiding the exclusive transfer of certain rights?
- What factors do businesses need to take into account if they wish to publish their own content and share it with colleagues?
Open Access and copyright
The information point takes a special interest in the relationship between Open Access and copyright. This is because TU Delft is an official advocate of Open Access. In 2005 the University was a signatory to the Berlin Declaration, the manifesto for the free circulation of scientific publications.
Your own publications or research data online
Do you as a company or organisation wish to share your publications and research data with others in full-text form and to make them accessible worldwide? Then put them online in your own repository. TU Delft Library will create a repository for you in which you can durably store your publications. Read more about this in Made-to-measure products.
