Digital map collection

Part of the map room collection is available online. The digital collection comprises topographical and thematic maps of the Netherlands. On the map room website you will find a list of all available digital maps.

Most digital maps are only available to students and staff at TU Delft. This is laid down in licences. The use of the digital maps is subject to certain conditions.

A number of unusual topographical maps and town and city maps are available digitally via the TU Delft Multimedia Repository.

  • The digital map of the Netherlands (scale 1:10,000) – available online.
  • Digital maps of the Netherlands in raster format (scale 1:25,000, scale 1:50,000, scale 1:250,000) – available in the map room.
  • Digital elevation maps of the Netherlands (Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland) – available in the map room.
  • Detailed city maps (scale 1:1,000) of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Gouda and Delft – available in the map room.
  • Digital sea charts – available in the map room.
